about

Roman Kuebler first surfaced as a member of Baltimore indie Roads to Space Travel, releasing records on Amish & DeSoto. When RTS dissolved, Kuebler assembled what was to become The Oranges Band: ex-Wrong Button drummer Dave Voyles, guitarists Dan Black & Virat Shukla, and bassist Tim Johnston. They debuted in 2000 w/ the Five Dollars EP on Morphius, & immediately began touring. A 2nd EP appeared on Morphius, Nine Hundred Miles of Fucking Hell, in 2001.

Following Kuebler collaborations & touring w/ The Thumbs & then as touring bassist for Spoon, they signed to Lookout!, who released the On TV EP (2002); their debut full-length All Around (Apr 2003), and then The World and Everything In It (2005).
